Fun in Sequoia National Forest

We took a little trip to find some hot springs in sequoia national forest - only to find it closed! We only found out later that everything down river from the dam is closed so that the corps of engineers is working on it, so it's kind of a public safety risk (ie we could have been washed away...)whoops. But we're safe. And dry. And never found the hot springs.

But we did find a ginormous pine cone.
